criminal Division - Misdemeanor Complaint Program

The Misdemeanor Complaint Program is offered by the Allen County Prosecutor's Office for citizens who have sustained a loss or injury for misdemeanor offenses in which no arrest has been made and a police report has been completed with a law enforcement agency. The perpetrator must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of the alleged offense. If the perpetrator is a family or household member, or an intimate partner, the complainant should follow up with the Victim's Assistance Division of the Fort Wayne Police Department instead of contacting the Misdemeanor Complaint Program.

The online form is available for use, however, if the complainant would like to meet with a Complaint Specialist, he or she may do so at the listed days and times. The complainant will need to provide a detailed statement in reference to the complaint, as well as, the identity of all witnesses. The complainant will be contacted after the matter has been reviewed by a Deputy Prosecutor.
